Johnathon’s Journey Into Yoga & Transformation

Johnathon’s path to Now Yoga is the result of over three decades of lived experience, deep practice, and personal transformation.

His journey began in 1994 on a quiet beach in Thailand, living in a simple hut after reaching a low point in life marked by confusion and uncertainty. In that space of openness, he discovered yoga—and within days fell deeply in love with the practice. He never looked back.

That moment became the turning point of his life.

Early Training in India & the Start of Teaching

In 2002, Johnathon trained as a Sivananda Yoga teacher in Southern India, immersing himself in traditional yogic teachings. From there, he began teaching yoga and continuing his personal practice, laying the foundation for his lifelong work.

Over the following years, he returned to India multiple times, deepening his understanding through study, experience, and spiritual immersion.

Expanding Into Coaching & Global Experience

In 2016, Johnathon became a Personal Transformation Coach, expanding his work beyond yoga to support people through life change, emotional challenges, and personal development.

He also spent three months working at a retreat centre in Costa Rica, gaining hands-on experience in immersive healing environments and conscious living.

India, Transformation & Becoming a Happiness Coach

In 2023, after a powerful and transformative journey through Varanasi and Rishikesh, Johnathon qualified as a Happiitude Happiness Coach, integrating yoga, spiritual traditions, and modern coaching approaches into a practical system for wellbeing.

The Now Yoga Approach

Today, Johnathon brings together:

* Traditional yoga and mindfulness
