By the time I became a transformation coach in the UK in 2016, I had already spent years studying personal development, mindfulness, and lifestyle redesign. I was also a keen student- and beginner teacher - of yoga.

But this journey didn’t really begin with coaching.

It began with a deeper pull…
Toward the unseen, the power within us, and something I'll call The Divine.

And alongside that, I knew one thing for certain:

I needed change.

The Beginning of My Personal Transformation Journey

I’m grateful for my childhood and teenage years, but like most people, it wasn’t without challenges.

When I discovered ideas around positive thinking and self-awareness, it shifted something in me. The realisation that we can influence our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs opened a new path.

From that point on, I wanted:

* To understand myself

* To live more consciously

* To find a deeper sense of purpose

This was the beginning of my personal transformation journey.

Why Change Is So Difficult

One thing I quickly learned is this:

Change isn’t easy - even when you’re becoming your true self.

The mind can:

* Distract you

* Mislead you

* Keep you stuck in old patterns

Over the years, I experienced my share of:

* Breakdowns

* Breakups

* Periods of feeling lost

But alongside these came real breakthroughs.

Even when my external life - career, finances, relationships - felt uncertain, something deeper was evolving.

Searching for Peace, Not Perfection

Like many people exploring mindfulness and personal growth in the UK, I tried different approaches:

* Travel

Not to chase status or material success.

What I truly wanted was simple:

A calm, steady, meaningful life - with some degree of genuine authentic happiness.

A clear mind leads to truth - and truth leads to real happiness.

This insight confirmed everything I was beginning to understand at that time.

In one neat little phrase it reminds us that the main barrier to clarity and peace isn’t the world - it’s the mind.
